Prospera Credit Union (Prospera) is excited to be holding a Directors Election this spring, its first as an amalgamated credit union. As a member, you play an important role in selecting the individuals who will form the Board of Directors (the board) and work on your behalf.

 

This year, Prospera has five (5) candidates standing for election for three (3) available director positions, each for a three-year term. We encourage you to have a say in the future of your credit union by taking the time to read about the candidates and cast your vote.

 

 

To be eligible to vote in the 2021 Directors Election, a member must be 19 years or older and be a Member in Good Standing.

 

Member in Good Standing means a member who, at the date on which good standing is determined, holds a minimum of five (5) membership shares.

 

Pursuant to the Rules of Prospera, the date on which good standing is determined for the 2021 election of directors is November 20, 2020. Therefore, for the purpose of this vote a person must have been a member of the credit union on or before November 20, 2020, to be eligible to vote in the 2021 Directors Election.

 

Eligible members are entitled to cast one (1) ballot in the 2021 Directors Election.

Voting in the 2021 Directors Election commences at 9 a.m. on April 1, 2021, and ends at 5 p.m. on April 12, 2021.
