As members, you are owners, not just customers. All members have an equal say in how their credit union operates and Prospera supports the democratic process through its members' right to vote on this special resolution.
 
Who Can Vote?
 
In order to be eligible to vote on the special resolution, as at May 31, 2019, a member:
  • Must be nineteen (19) years or older
  • Has purchased, paid for and hold a minimum of twenty-five (25) Class "A" Membership Equity Shares
  • Is not more than ninety (90) days delinquent in any obligation to Prospera
A member of Prospera who is not an individual may vote on the special resolution by an individual who:
  • is not a member; and
  • by written authorization deposited with Prospera, is authorized to vote on behalf of that member.
Eligible members are entitled to cast one (1) ballot.
 
What is the special resolution?
You will find the Special Resolution and the information you will need to make an informed decision in the Member’s Guide to the Merger of Prospera Credit Union and Westminster Savings Credit Union which was mailed to members on September 27, 2019 and is available at your local branch or online at futurestrong.ca

How to Vote?
 
Enter your account number and the last four digits of your social insurance number (SIN) (example: 123 456 789). (Enter 6789 as last four digits)
 
Should you have multiple accounts at multiple branches, please use the lowest account number to login and vote.
 
Eligible members can vote online or in branch starting at 10:00 am Pacific Time on October 30, 2019 and ending at 6:00 pm Pacific Time on November 15, 2019.
